Write for sapperment
An independent, employer-independent home for the people who shaped their corner of the SAP world — organised by domain, not by name.
Why write here
sapperment is a multi-author SAP publishing platform. It exists so that expert work has a permanent, vendor-neutral home that doesn't move when you do — and reaches the people who need it.
- Distribution that exists today — two focused funnels: the SAP TM Hub for practitioners and Executive Clarity for executives, amplified through four newsletters with 10,000+ combined subscribers, a 2,100+-member TM community and 212,000+ combined LinkedIn reach across the sapperment expert network.
- Curation as a seal of quality — being invited is the signal, and the peer set proves it: an original architect of SAP TM, an active SAP Global VP, the founder of SAP TM & Logistics Innovators, and a former SAP Vice President as publisher. Every author owns a named column in their domain.
- A canonical home with real search infrastructure — every piece gets a canonical URL, author schema, sitemap and RSS entry, and a permanent record in the sapperment library (170+ publications and counting). LinkedIn, Medium and elsewhere become syndication, pointing back here.
- Cross-promotion by architecture — your work is woven into the eight-step TM process chain and the eight-decision executive library, linked from related domains rather than buried on a personal page.
How it works
Authorship is by invitation. You keep editorial independence and write in your own voice; sapperment stays vendor- and firm-neutral, so no column reads as an ad for anyone's employer. Invited authors join the LTV — Leading Top Voices tier, each with a named column. The model is reach-first; any revenue participation comes later and openly.
The terms, in plain language
Cadence and length. Two to four substantive contributions per year, typically 1,200–1,800 words. Depth over frequency — there is no content treadmill.
Copyright. You retain full ownership of your work. sapperment receives a non-exclusive right to publish it and keep it in the platform archive.
Cross-posting. Permitted. Your sapperment page is the canonical version and publishes first; adapted versions on LinkedIn or elsewhere are yours to place, linking back.
Editorial approval. You keep final approval over substantive changes. We edit for platform consistency and our published standards — vendor-neutrality, disclosures; the argument stays yours.
Exclusivity. None on you as a person. What is exclusive is the domain and column name on the platform itself: one voice per seat — which protects you as much as us.
Money. Unpaid in both directions: you pay nothing, we pay nothing, and nobody buys their way in. If commercial formats develop around a domain, that conversation happens openly with the author it concerns.
Domains we're opening next
Beyond SAP Transportation Management and the executive track, these domains are open to a Leading Top Voice:
- SAP EWM — Extended Warehouse Management
- SAP GTS — Global Trade Services & cross-border trade
- SAP BTP — Business Technology Platform & extensibility
- ++ your domain — if you've shaped a corner of SAP the field still relies on
Opened by invitation
If this resonates and you own a domain the SAP world depends on, start a conversation with the publisher — or read who already writes here.
